Fifteen (15) days after the appearance of Sri Krishna (Janmashtami) is the day of appearance of Srimati Radharani (Radhastami). Sri Krishna is the source and owner of all energies (Saktiman) while Srimati Radharani is the manifestation of Sri Krishna himself as the main spiritual energy (sakti) which gives happiness (hladini) to Him.
Why was Srimati Radharani the most satisfying and blissful to Sri Krishna?
Because there is no greater love than Srimati Radharani's love. However, Her love is completely free (without) pride, this is the hallmark of Srimati Radharani's love. Her love continues to grow even though there is no room for that love to expand. Krishna, the All-knowing One does not understand how powerful Srimati Radharani's Love is.
Srila Prabhupada teaches us how one should pray to Srimati Radharani:
"Today is the day of appearance of Srimati Radharani, so we should offer puspanjali (flowers) and pray to Radharani, "Oh Srimati Radharani, please be generous, tell Krishna about myself, I am your petty servant, and Krishna is yours."
Krishna is completely in control of Srimati Radharani, We are waiting for her before Krishna goes through Srimati Radharani. Thus, today is a day full of gifts, Praise Srimati Radharani as best you can, surely you will be happy. "(Radhastami lecture, London, 5 September 1973)
For that on this day full of grace let us bow down and ask for the grace of Srimati Radharani, hopefully today can be a good day where our devotional seeds can be refreshed with nutrition from the rain of grace given by Srimati Radharani.
I bow down to Rādhārāṇī, whose body is golden in color. She was queen of Vrindavana, daughter of King Vṛṣabhānu, and she was greatly loved by Lord Krishna.
